Lady Jane's Lessons is a tribute to companion animals of all sizes and shapes.
For without these best friends we certainly would not be as mentally and physically healthy as we are.
Lady Jane's Lessons is your resource to learn about animal nutrition, illnesses, first aid techniques and how to live responsibly by not using products tested on animals. Send in your stories and photos to ladyjaneslessons@gmail.com and they will be posted upon receipt.

Playtime with Chester
This is a little different. Here Chester the 8-year old Airedale spends 'quality time' with youngster Baxter. Note how Chester does very little work and helps to tire out Baxter.
Bridget Albert has, since she was a child, been an advocate for animals. Her first pet was a miniature dachshund named Pepper that her parents rescued from an abusive situation.
Her advocacy includes working on legislation, being a previous member of her municipal animal shelter board, a founding member of two animal rescue groups, volunteering at numerous shelters and being an outspoken critic on behalf of animals, when necessary. Currently she is a founding member of Amity Animal Rescue Fund, Inc. of which she is very proud.
Albert is also an award-winning journalist, former editor for 12 years of a local newspaper, a reporter for the New Haven Register and a pet photographer in her spare time.
Regarding Bicycling Through Time
Bridget Albert has had her share of hard luck. Like many others she has been touched by hypertension, arthritis and cancer. But nothing has impacted her the way turning 60 has. Nothing has ever been easy for Bridget so check back and see how she is doing.
